SIR KNIGHT Built by the Marine Division of Hugh Lee Iron Works, Saginaw, MI, from plans designed by A.M. Deering, Chicago naval architect. The 52 ft. x 13 ft. all steel vessel was equipped with a 165 hp. Graymarine diesel turning a 36 x 34 cast steel wheel. Owner Robert Scott, Jr.,Alpena, MI had stationed the boat at Manistee, MI under the command of Alfred Nordstrand. In just a few years the boat was offered for sale. Scott took her to Florida for a time, but returned to Michigan. The boat was eventually put to use as a harbor tug, in the Bay City, MI area.
