IVA MAY . 250829 .Built by Burger Boat Co. in 1946, for Arthur Tucker, Benton Harbor, Mich. The 52 ft. x 14 ft. vessel was equipped with a 100-120 hp. Kahlenberg oil engine. In the 1950s the boat was sold to the Fish and Wildlife Service, Dept. of Interior, re-powered with a GM 6-71 diesel, and converted to use as a fishery research vessel. Stationed at Bayfield, Wis. until 1998, she was then transferred to Cheboygan, Mich.
