Fish Tugs of the Greatest Lake
CORNUCOPIA

CORNUCOPIA 48 ft. fish tug built at Cornucopia, Wis., in 1929, by Thomas H. Jones, Sr. Powered with a 50-60 hp. Kahlenberg oil engine, the boat was owned and operated by Andrew Hansen, Cornucopia until 1942, when ownership was by his widow, Rosie Hansen. Evald Heinonen also had the boat for a time. In 1958 John Greene, Ashland, Wis. was owner, and in 1962 Gerhard Schultz, Ironwood, Mich. had the boat at Black River Harbor, Mich., fishing with her briefly. A fire destroyed the boat shortly after.
